The “5 colors of the human family” historically refers to black, white, brown, red and yellow. Many theological scholars refers to these colors as a biblical reference to mankind used to differentiate various nations of people depicted in scripture. Although these colors are outdated we are going back to the bases of humanity to create a brand whose social entrepreneurial endeavor is to unite mankind through the love of fashion which celebrates all people. DOVIE is pleased to participate in this endeavor in every way possible whether it’s through our own humanitarian efforts or simply representing other races through the color scheme of our clothing.

•Black: Refers to peoples of African descent.
• White: Refers to peoples of European descent.
• Yellow: Refers to East Asian populations.
• Red: Refers to Indigenous peoples of the Americas.
• Brown: Sometimes used for groups from South Asia, the Middle East, and parts of North Africa.

DOVIE & ROWE’s color scheme consists of the 5 colors of the human family. Although there is visibly only 4 colors used the 5th one being brown, is made up of red, yellow and black. This speaks volumes of the unity of the human race that ROWE pledges to support. Christ was no respecter of persons, so shouldn’t we be.
